Is Mystery Shopping A Scam?

Mystery Shopping Scam

Have you ever wondered about mystery shopping?

Could mystery shopping be real or is it all a scam?

If you have ever wondered or thought these things, I am here to tell you that mystery shopping IS real.

As a 15 year mystery shopping veteran, I am able to command top dollar for my mystery shopping and I have effectively kissed a nine-to-five goodbye!

Monday is coming again and the start of a new work week. Do you dream of waking up whenever you feel like it during the week? Instead you might have to wake up at four o'clock or five o'clock AM.

If you are lucky you might get to sleep until six o'clock AM, rising to prepare for a mad commute to work. Leaving your comfy home, you schlep to the office, together with all the other rats in this wicked race.

Let me tell you about my typical workday:

I wake up around 6:00AM and instead of rushing around preparing to leave, I spend the time with myself meditating, journaling, or exercising at home.
Sometimes I drop it like it's hot while I dance-exercise-zumba in the mirror. "Girl, I think my butt gettin' big!" Syke. I wish it was. I am working on my gluts or lack thereof with a kettle bell but that's another post.
So I've danced in the mirror while listening to some Missy Elliott or Wes Montgomery, some Ludacris or some Loose Ends, or even listening to some Maysa or Maze featuring Frankie Beverly.
Now I am hungry and it's time to eat! One of my most favorite things to do! Not really, but I do enjoy my food. I'll prepare myself something fresh to eat and enjoy that while scheduling the rest of my day.  Oh yeah and of course there is social media! I absolutely MUST get my internet fix, all up and in between.
Lately, I have been receiving lots of contracts. Sometimes I prepare my route or schedule the night before in order to maximize my time. The following morning I arrive at my first contract at the first possible hour.
My day is normally pretty fluid. Sometimes I leave early, which is good. Sometimes I leave late, which is not so good. Driving in evening "rush" hour traffic is a little hectic, but it all works out. I am able to hang out with old school friends or eat sushi for lunch with my sister in the Little Tokyo area of Los Angeles. All while getting my work done, too!
That is the typical day of this professional mystery shopper turned Field Services Professional.

As a veteran mystery shopper, I now contract with the US Government as well as other institutions and organizations throughout Los Angeles County into San Bernardino, Riverside, and Orange and Ventura. I earn 3 to 10 times more, per report, than the average mystery shopper.

I started with a list like this: The Hot New Mystery Shopping List. This is a hand-picked list of dozens of companies looking for people like YOU!

Everyone dreams of working for themselves, or working at home. I have several work at home jobs (contracts) and enjoy the time and freedom mystery shopping has afforded me.
